以上がトップ4のシード校。東海岸寄りになっており、唯一Stanfordのみが西海岸の大学になっている。この中からIndiana University に少しだけ注目。
Indiana Universityはアメリカサッカー界での強豪校。伝統のあるチームの一つだ。全米優勝は過去に8回しており、アメリカ大学全米大会の常連校と知られている。近年、外国人選手に頼るチームが増える中、Indiana University のロスターを見てみると、外国人が一人。ほぼチームがIndiana州か周りの州から来ている。これは大学のリクルーテング哲学であり、地域のベストの選手を獲得するというのが彼らの成功に繋がっている。

２０１３年にKyoto International Schoolのアフタースクールサッカー教室として活動が始まり２０１６年に設立されたKosmos FC。国際ジュニアサッカーチームとして活動をしている。指導は英語と日本語、選手のほとんどは英語を母国語としているか、バイリンガル英語と日本語、またはフランス語や韓国語など、様々な言語を話せる子供たちが国際交流できるユニークなチーム。Kosmos はギリシャ語で「完全なるシステム」を意味するという。Kosmos FC は京都の国際コミニュティと地域の方々がサッカーという楽しいスポーツを通し異文化の理解に貢献するという理念を抱いております。またサッカーの育成、英語教育、そしてヨガにも取り入りいれ、Spirit, Body and Mindという教育メセッド をKosmos FCの独自の指導法としている。
In 2013, Kosmos FC started as an after school program at Kyoto International School. In 2016, Kosmos FC began its operations as an International youth soccer team. Lessons are conducted mainly in English with some Japanese to assist non-English speakers. A variety of language speakers comprise our team, including English, French, Korean, and other bilingual speakers. Our aim is to bring the international community of Kyoto together with the local community through the sport of soccer while contributing to the mutual understanding of different cultures. Furthermore, we incorporate a Spirit, Body, and Mind educational approach that is unique to our club. We also provide professional soccer training with an emphasis on English education for our Japanese speaking players. We also practice yoga so that our players achieve a better understanding of their bodies and for overall health.
